TitelPhotos from over 10 years
In the last 12 years I have made a lot of bird photos, and collected them in my website. There is now a new site, where all the photos of plants, animals and fungi can be found. I now also have the possibility to show new species in a blog for the species of the last days.

TitelEbro Valley and Pyrenees birding tour trip with 3 blogs
We went on a SNP birding trip to Northern Spain in the spring of 2024. The trip took us along the wetlands of the Ebro Delta, the steppes of the Ebro Valley in the Monegros, the gorges and vulture rocks of the Sierra de Guara and the high mountains. In the higher valleys of the Pyrenees there was too much snow for a jeep tour, but we went high enough to see marmots.
TitelMorocco: from the Atlas to the coast by Agadir trip with 10 blogs
I have often looked at the BirdingBreaks website, but finally I am going with a BirdingBreaks group to the south of Morocco. From Marrakech we will go over the Atlas Mountains to the famous sand dunes in the desert, and finally to the coast near Agadir. I am beginning to understand the difference between a birdwatcher and a bird photographer. The former wants to see as many bird species in the scope in as little time as possible, and the bird photographer wants nice photos: with the sun at your back and not too far away.
TitelBirding near Orlando, Florida trip with 4 blogs
After visiting the SHARE conference in Orlando, I stayed in Orlando for a few days to explore the area. I had been there many times before, but with a guide I saw new areas and new species. Florida is a great holiday in the winter: nice weather without the heat of summer. And the birds and alligators think so too.
TitelSafari South-Afrika 2024 trip with 28 blogs
We did a tour along safari parks. A safari park is a hotel, lodge or tented camp in or next to a park where you can see the 'Big-5 game': lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and hippos. 'Game' is a designation for wild animals that could hunt, 'Big-5' because they are the 5 species that can probably kill the hunter. Of course I also looked at the birds. We also went out with a bird guide for a few days. In total we saw 34 species of mammals and 191 species of birds. From elephant to squirrel, and from house sparrow to ostrich.
